Geriatrics Nurse Practitioner - Faculty Position
Job Summary:UT Health San Antonio is seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner to join the Geriatrics and Supportive Care division as a faculty member. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to practicing and teaching patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:- Provide clinical care to patients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other settings.
- Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and students.
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
- Strong clinical experience in geriatrics and palliative care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to teaching and education.
