Railcar Repair Welder

At CalmHR Inc, we are seeking a skilled Railcar Repair Welder & Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding tasks with precision and efficiency, utilizing an oxygen/acetylene (propane) torch for cutting and welding, and demonstrating good spatial awareness to effectively interpret and work with blueprints and layouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality results.
• Utilize an oxygen/acetylene (propane) torch for cutting and welding, adhering to safety protocols.
• Interpret and work with blueprints and layouts, demonstrating good spatial awareness.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision.
• Operate hand and power tools to prepare materials for welding, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Good time management skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines.
• Valid Driver's License, with a strong mechanical background.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
• Dependable and willing to work flexible hours, with a strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development in welding practice.
