About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide clinical services to a small group of selected students with significant behavioral and emotional needs. You will work closely with a seasoned management team to deliver exceptional care and support to our students and their families.
Clinical Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions that promote academic and mental health stability for students and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student.
- Provide group therapy, individual counseling, and family counseling services as needed.
- Collaborate with school administrators, district leaders, teachers, and paraprofessionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.
- Refer students and families to appropriate levels of care, including substance abuse services and intensive outpatient programs, as needed.
- Submit timely and accurate clinical documentation in our electronic medical record system.
- Participate in regular team meetings, including administrative school meetings, ESS town hall meetings, and treatment team meetings.
- Maintain current professional licensure and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by governing boards.
- Attend work on scheduled days and times, dressed in professional attire and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- 3+ years of experience treating children and adolescents with significant behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Hold a clinical license in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy in the state where this position is located.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working with students, families, and community health and social service agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort using a computer.
- Ability to complete thorough clinical documentation.
