As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with complex infectious diseases, including HIV and Hepatitis C. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research projects and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient consultation services, including HIV and Hepatitis C patient treatment
- Participate in inpatient consultations at Hartford Hospital
- Assist with activities of infection control and hospital epidemiology programs
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Collaborate with other ID physicians on shared call and transplant medicine opportunities
