About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technician to join our team for a 12-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital in Lewiston, Idaho.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Catheterization Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting with procedures in the cath lab.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
Requirements
  • One to three years experience as a Technician preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
