CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Highmark Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing prescribed CT imaging procedures and analyzing results to ensure high-quality images.

• Position patients and perform imaging procedures with minimal supervision.
• Analyze results and identify issues with image quality, taking corrective action as needed.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately and efficiently.
• Review patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.

• Associate degree or certification from a technical school.
• Minimum of six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - Radiography Certification and Registration (R) or equivalent.
• Computed Tomography (CT) Certification required within 18 months of hire.
• CPR - American Heart Association certification.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 clearances.

• Prior experience working as a CT Technologist.
