Job Overview:

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our educational services, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive support and guidance.

Salary: $42-$52 per hour, based on experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Counseling Services: Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, personal, social, and emotional concerns.
  • Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support and assistance in emergency situations.
  • Post-Secondary Planning: Guide students in exploring college options, scholarship opportunities, and career planning.
  • Collaboration: Work with teachers and parents to identify and address academic challenges, implementing strategies to enhance student success.
  • Behavioral Support: Develop intervention plans and collaborate with teachers and administrators to promote positive behavior.
  • Social-Emotional Learning: Integrate SEL programs to enhance students' emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills.
  • Conflict Resolution: Mediate and facilitate conflict resolution among students, fostering a positive school culture.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to address student needs and provide ongoing support.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in school counseling and participate in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Counseling or a related field.
  • State certification as a School Counselor.
  • Demonstrated experience in counseling, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention, and career development.
  • Commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with empathy.
