Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and bread items for our guests. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our culinary team and contribute to the success of our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality pastry and bread items for our guests, including cakes, pastries, breads, and other sweet and savory items.
  • Collaborate with our Executive Pastry Chef to develop and produce innovative pastry and bread items for our hotel outlets.
  • Ensure that all pastry and bread items are prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all pastry and bread items are prepared and presented on time.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pastry or bakery role, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of pastry and bread preparation techniques, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
