Role Responsibilities:

The Resident Assistant (RA) plays a crucial role in delivering various services to support residents' daily living activities under the guidance of a Nurse. The RA is tasked with providing exceptional customer service, demonstrating courtesy, dignity, and respect in all responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transferring, and other designated care
  • Assist residents during meal times
  • Perform homemaking duties
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' health status and suggest necessary adjustments to their care plans
  • Maintain thorough daily documentation
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to implement The Waters Way
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or active nurse aide certification on the Pennsylvania registry
  • Minimum of one year of experience in nursing or resident assistant roles within senior services
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and following verbal instructions in English
  • Basic computer skills with experience or willingness to learn electronic health record systems
  • Demonstrated compassion and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Flexibility with hours, shifts, and assignments
