Pediatric ER Nurse Opportunity in Tennessee

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team at Monroe Carell Junior Children's Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tennessee.
About the Role:
This dynamic and specialized unit provides critical care to children with acute illnesses or injuries. As a Pediatric ER Nurse, you will be part of a collaborative team that includes board-certified pediatric emergency room physicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and child life specialists. Your primary responsibility will be to provide family-centered care, quickly assess patients to identify their needs, and work closely with your team to deliver excellent outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provides critical care to children with acute illnesses or injuries
- Rapidly assesses patients to identify their needs
- Works closely with a dedicated medical team to ensure best outcomes for pediatric patients
- Maintains hospital and unit specific competencies
- Collaborates with the pediatric acute care team to coordinate transition of care for admitted patients
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certifications required within 6 months of hire

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
