Job Overview

At TDX, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Control Personnel to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical work on our projects, working closely with our construction teams to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and inspect electrical work to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to resolve any electrical-related issues that may arise.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in electrical work.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on electrical quality control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical quality control or a related field.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, practices, schedules, logistics, and budgets.
  • Current safety credentials, including OSHA 10 or USACE EM and First Aid/CPR.
  • USACE/NAVFAC QCM certification or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Professional demeanor in person, online, and via phone with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship or U.S. permanent resident status required.
  • A valid driver's license issued by the state of residence and in good standing.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Weather: This position requires much of the work to be performed inside in an environmentally controlled office, occasionally requiring work to be performed outside where the employee may be exposed to harsh weather conditions.
  • Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, may be exposed to a loud work environment when traveling to worksites.
  • Description of environment: Most of the work will be in a standard office environment with standard office equipment.
  • Physical requirements: Employee is required to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.
  • Travel: Up to 15%.
