POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for assessing the status of cleaned rooms. Complete checklists to document cleanliness and condition of each designated area. Fulfill necessary Housekeeping documentation. Identify room assignments and the type of cleaning required for each space. Conduct inspections of guest rooms post-cleaning by Housekeeping staff. Address requests from guests and other departments promptly.
Assist management in recruiting, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees; serve as a role model. Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; ensure proper storage of flammable materials. Maintain a clean and professional appearance; uphold confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express genuine appreciation to guests.
Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement innovative methods to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-effectiveness. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance and over 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Access and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Visually verify and interpret written documents. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
The pay rate for this position is $27.25 and includes health care benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and additional life and work wellness benefits.
