Job Title: Per Diem Nurse - Medical-Surgical

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Per Diem Nurse - Medical-Surgical to join our team at HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA. As a Per Diem Nurse - Medical-Surgical, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment.

Job Summary:

The Per Diem Nurse - Medical-Surgical will work in a 13-week nursing assignment, providing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to physicians
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications for the specific position
  • Strong foundation in nursing skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
