  • Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety and electrical codes.
  • Providing preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
  • Training and mentoring junior electricians.
  • Collaborating with construction project managers to plan and execute electrical installations in new constructions or renovations.
  • Responding to emergency call-outs to carry out temporary or permanent repairs.
  • Keeping records of all work performed and parts used for each job.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Electrician in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, service, and repair.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and other electrical diagrams.
  • Proficiency in using electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • A valid electrician's license.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; further education in electrical engineering or a related field is a plus.
