About the Role:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the NICU, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, including assigning tasks, providing feedback, and evaluating performance.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager, Director, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement unit policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs to ensure that the unit meets or exceeds national standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU nursing, with a focus on leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
