Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and lead a team of quality personnel, including inspectors, calibration specialists, and other quality professionals.
    • Provide guidance and support to ensure the team is equipped to meet the company's quality goals.
  • Training and Development
    • Identify and plan training needs to ensure the professional growth of employees and promote continuous education.
    • Ensure department personnel training is completed and current to the latest revision.
  • Quality Data Management
    • Monitor and log internal and external quality data related to quality performance.
    • Record and report first pass yield data (FPY).
  • Process Improvement
    • Oversee the improvement of processes and systems within the quality department.
    • Maintain a nonconforming material report log (NCMR) and associated documentation.
  • Housekeeping and Safety
    • Ensure a clean and organized working environment.
    • Oversee general housekeeping to provide a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
    • Basic knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods.
  • Experience and Education
    • Two to five years of experience in a related field preferred but not required.
  • Soft Skills
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with all coworkers.
