About the Role:

Surgery Partners seeks a skilled Pacu Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our same day surgery setting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, collaborating with physicians and other departments to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume total responsibility for patient care, implementing plans as directed by physicians and adhering to center policies.
  • Monitor and control supply usage, ensuring accurate charging and inventory management.
  • Supervise and orient new employees, providing training on current departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain patient and employee confidentiality, adhering to privacy and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Ability to assess patient needs, develop effective care plans, and implement treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
