Job Summary

At Youth Villages, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate In-Home Therapist/Social Services Professional to join our team. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will work with children and families in their own homes, providing guidance and treatment resources to help them overcome challenges and achieve success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of 4-6 families and provide individual therapeutic treatment interventions
  • Meet with families a minimum of 3 times per week to assess and review their needs
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of clients' needs from a strength-focused, solution-based perspective
  • Provide on-call crisis support to youth and families using a rotating on-call schedule
  • Collaborate with other community members to support the success of the youth, including attending court and meeting with teachers
  • Attend weekly meetings for professional development to enhance clinical skills
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a social services discipline (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline (required)
  • At least 1 year of related experience in counseling and/or case management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
