Atrium Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join its team at Carolinas Medical Center PACU FT Evening 11a-11p. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Key responsibilities include collecting data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or situation, analyzing assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues, identifying expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation, developing a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes, implementing the identified plan, coordinating care delivery, and employing strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

Physical Requirements

This role requires strong physical abilities, including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. The ability to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies is also necessary. Additionally, the successful candidate must possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, and touch, as well as finger dexterity and critical thinking skills.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing, preferably a BSN. Current Basic Life Support certification is required, along with a current RN license or temporary license as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the applicant works and resides. National License Compact (NLC) states require licensure in the applicant's home state, while non-NLC states require current RN licensure or temporary licensure as a Registered Nurse Petitioner in the state where the applicant works.
