About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Food City. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for:

  • Cutting, Trimming, Chopping, and Grinding Meat and Seafood Products: Ensure that all meat and seafood products are cut, trimmed, chopped, and ground to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Traying and Wrapping Product: Display our products in an attractive and appealing manner to customers.
  • Maintaining High-Quality, Fresh Product: Ensure that our meat and seafood products are always fresh and of the highest quality.
  • Handling Freight, Organizing Coolers, and Assisting with Ordering Product: Assist with receiving and storing merchandise, as well as ordering and stocking product.
  • Operating Electric Meat Saws, Grinders, and Other Meat Processing Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate all meat processing equipment to ensure high-quality products.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Meat Cutting Experience: Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery environment is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
