The Bartender serves as the initial point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive experience before they are seated.
As a bartender at Hard Rock Cafe, you will take on various roles including communicator, entertainer, decision-maker, memorabilia curator, and musician.
Your responsibilities will include:- Crafting beverages according to established recipes.
- Exhibiting responsible alcohol service.
- Serving food items.
- Processing cash and other payment methods.
- Executing proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
- Verifying identification for guests who appear under the legal drinking age.
- Maintaining accurate cash drawer balances.
- Guiding guests to facilities and amenities.
- Demonstrating extensive product knowledge.
- Engaging in suggestive selling techniques.
- Ensuring a clean and organized bar environment.
- Maintaining proper inventory levels through regular stock checks.
- Stocking liquor, beer, wine, and glassware throughout shifts.
- Properly labeling and storing prepped items.
- Maintaining sanitation standards in the bar area.
- Performing opening, closing, and side duties, including cleaning and organizing.
- Responding to guest inquiries accurately and courteously.
- Creating memorable experiences for guests.
- Entertaining patrons to foster loyalty.

Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume bartending environment is essential. In certain regions, completion of a food safety certification program may be necessary before serving food or alcohol.Skills:
