Nurse Specializing in Progressive Care Unit Required
6 days ago
Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join their team in a Progressive Care Unit role. This dynamic opportunity offers a chance to work with a mixed medical/surgical and telemetry patient population, including those with neurological, respiratory, and cardiac conditions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in PCU nursing and be comfortable working with adolescents to geriatrics. A strong background in titrating cardiac drips and using telemetry is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4-5, and nurses are expected to wear navy blue scrubs. Flexibility is key, as assignments may include all PCU, medical/surgical/telemetry, or a mix, depending on patient acuity and staffing needs.
This full-time opportunity comes with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $115,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive training, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a current RN license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. Proficiency in Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR is also required. Flexible scheduling is necessary, with availability for every other weekend and potential floating within the facility.
In addition to the physical and mental demands of this role, applicants must be prepared to work some holidays as defined by the organization. Compliance with flu vaccine policies and adherence to start dates are also essential.
