This role involves delivering direct patient care using the nursing process and adhering to the healthcare facility's unit-specific job description. As a critical care nurse specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Requirements:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing (RN) from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience as a registered nurse with a focus on cardiac catheterization.
  • An unrestricted license to practice nursing in the state of Kentucky.

Workplace Conditions:

  • Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching may be required.
  • Lifting up to 80 pounds may be necessary, with proper techniques.
  • You may need to stand or walk for 2-5 hours at a time.
  • Exposure to chemicals, radiation, infectious diseases/waste, and/or blood-borne pathogens may occur.
