Nursery Caregiver

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nursery Caregiver to join our team at Highland Park United Methodist Church. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will provide top-notch care and attention to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.

• Provide safe and nurturing care to children ages birth to 2 years old on Sundays and children up to 12 years old for weeknight programs.
• Interact positively with parents at drop-off and pick-up, ensuring a smooth transition for families.
• Attend required safety and enrichment training to stay up-to-date on best practices.
• Perform hands-on childcare duties, including diaper changing, feeding, playing, and other tasks as needed.

• At least 1-3 months of experience caring for infants and children in a similar environment.
• CPR/First aid certification preferred, but training will be provided.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents and understand a child's needs while in our care.
• Ability to sit, stand, and kneel without assistance, and lift up to 40 pounds.
