Practice Details
- Coverage Need: Seeking coverage until a permanent provider is secured.
- Work Environment: Hospital-based practice with options for remote reading.
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM; no weekend or on-call responsibilities.
- Daily Case Load: Expect a variable case load of approximately 35-40 CT scans or equivalent.
- Imaging Techniques: Proficient in X-ray, CT, Ultrasound, and MRI, primarily focusing on outpatient and non-urgent cases.
- Procedural Requirements: No procedures are required for this position.
- Trauma Level: Level I trauma center.
- Technology Utilization: Familiarity with Epic, PowerScribe 360, Intelerad PACS, and Softek Illuminate is essential.
- Patient Demographics: All age groups are included, though pediatric readings are not necessary for locum coverage.
- Credentialing Process: Anticipate a credentialing timeframe of approximately 60-90 days.
Qualifications
- Board Certification: Must be ABR or AOBR certified.
- State License: An active Illinois medical license is required.
- BLS Certification: Current BLS certification is mandatory.
