Job Title: Residential Adjunct Instructor - Nursing

Job Summary:

Rasmussen University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Instructor to teach in our Nursing program at our Eagan campus. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student learning, and contributing to the development of our Nursing curriculum.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Nursing courses in a dynamic and active classroom environment
  • Develop and implement curriculum and assessment for Nursing courses
  • Provide student support and outreach to ensure student success
  • Participate in faculty meetings and committee work as agreed upon by the Dean
  • Complete professional development requirements, including six (6) Rasmussen Educational Units (REUs) annually

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Active registered nurse license with no encumbrances
  • Ability to provide official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution
  • Active CPR certification administered by either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross
  • Clinical faculty must adhere to Rasmussen University's policy on faculty immunizations and provide proper documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or better in Nursing
