Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for student needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for student needs, including IEP and BIP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making.
  • Monitor student progress and provide recommendations based on evaluations, including academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Advocate for students' educational and emotional needs, ensuring that they receive the support and services necessary to succeed.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in the field of school psychology, including evidence-based interventions and assessments.
Requirements
  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
  • State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Texas.
  • National Certification in School Psychology (NCSP) is preferred but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
