As an Animal Care Technician within the Christensen Farms Sow System, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining rigorous biosecurity and animal welfare protocols, delivering exceptional animal care, ensuring the health of the pig herd, implementing vaccination schedules, conducting artificial insemination, assisting farrowing sows, nurturing growing pigs, and keeping accurate sow records.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This Animal Care Technician role offers a starting wage of $20/hr, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, a 401(k) retirement plan, paid holidays, paid time off, and an Employee Assistance Program.
