Job Title: Custodial Technician
Overview: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in public transit areas by executing various cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning and sanitizing across designated locations.
- Dust and wipe surfaces to ensure a tidy environment.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; shampoo carpets as needed.
- Utilize power washing equipment for station floors and walls.
- Restock towels and hand hygiene supplies in restrooms.
- Collect and dispose of waste from trash receptacles.
- Report maintenance issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnel.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect restroom facilities.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and apply these skills in practical situations involving money and measurements.
Reasoning Skills:
Ability to apply common sense to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using a tablet or smartphone for work-related tasks.
Certificates and Licenses:
No certifications are required for this position.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not include supervisory duties.
