Position Overview

MedicalPeople Staffing, LLC is currently in search of a skilled CT Technologist for a travel position.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting CT scans on patients utilizing advanced imaging technology while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
  • Preparing patients for imaging procedures, providing clear explanations, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process.
  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images by meticulously following imaging protocols to aid in accurate patient assessments.
  • Observing radiation safety measures to maintain a secure environment for both patients and staff during imaging operations.
  • Keeping precise patient records, including imaging data and relevant patient information, ensuring timely updates in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Collaborating with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and support in diagnosing medical conditions.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
  • State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong attention to detail and a dedication to patient care and safety.
