Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Monitor the venue to ensure safety, order, and the protection of property.
  • Conduct regular patrols or maintain a designated post to identify potential issues and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Perform guest screenings, including physical searches and bag checks, to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Verify tickets and passes to confirm guests are seated in their designated areas.
  • Guide guests to their seats and address any inquiries or concerns they may have.
  • Enforce venue rules and manage any violations, including the removal of disruptive individuals.
  • Assist medical personnel in providing aid to guests in need.
  • Document incidents that occur during events through written reports.
  • Participate in post-event cleanup and organization.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude towards customer service at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • Availability to work during major holidays and weekends throughout the year.
  • Shifts may vary, primarily occurring in the evening during events.
  • Physical demands include walking, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and safety practices in public venues.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance are essential.
  • Ability to make sound decisions while adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to implement safety programs effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with clarity and professionalism in interactions.
  • Well-groomed appearance is necessary.

Certifications:

  • Guard Card is preferred.
  • Training for Proprietary Guard Card certification may be provided.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification is desirable.

Compensation:

The expected pay for this role is between $18.29 and $20.00 per hour.
