Outbound Operations:
This overnight role involves various tasks including selection, storage, restocking, and potential forklift operation. All tasks will utilize a Radio Frequency (RF) Device.
Under the general guidance of the Operations Manager or another supervisory figure within the facility, the Logistics Warehouse Associate is tasked with executing one or more warehouse functions such as selection, packaging, verification, dispatching, inventory management, and receiving.
The Logistics Warehouse Associate will ensure that customers receive the correct products promptly, fostering trust and confidence that their orders are handled accurately and professionally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Select items using a Radio Frequency (RF) device or pick ticket with speed and precision.
- Verify that selected items are accurate, confirming unit of measure, size, and quantity.
- Conduct quality checks (QC) and package customer orders carefully and efficiently.
- Adhere to all shipping deadlines.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, accurately identifying any discrepancies.
- Organize and rotate inventory effectively.
- Comply with all relevant federal and state regulations.
- Restock supplies as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all applicable policies, procedures, safety protocols, and regulations.
- Be available for overtime as required.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Typically requires a minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience. Previous experience in warehouse or distribution settings is advantageous.
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to walk and stand continuously; retrieve orders from various shelf heights; and lift up to 35 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally is essential.
Must possess the ability to read and comprehend English, have number recognition skills, and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination. A sense of urgency is necessary to meet all deadlines. Basic computer skills are desirable.
