Job Summary
Alabama Power Company's Transmission Line Services Survey Support team is seeking a skilled Cartographer Assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in preliminary land survey, pipeline, or highway centerline mapping. Key responsibilities include mapping centerline Alabama Power Company (APC) transmission line right-of-way in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and work a hybrid schedule (in-office and remote).
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year
About the Role
This position is part of the Power Delivery Transmission Line Services Survey Support team at Alabama Power Company Headquarters.
Candidates with experience and qualifications for Drafter 1 and Drafter 2 positions will be considered.
Requirements
- Preliminary land survey, pipeline, or highway centerline mapping experience
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D
