Role Overview

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team of clinicians dedicated to providing comprehensive and integrated care to children with autism and their families.

Job Summary
  • Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist for children ages 2-6 in a center-based setting.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
  • Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
  • Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
  • Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
  • License to practice speech pathology.
  • Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
  • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
  • Ability to connect and engage with young children.
