Prestige Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated Account Representative within the healthcare sector for a direct hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in health insurance, particularly in medical claims processing and follow-up. This role is designed to be remote; however, candidates must reside in Atlanta, GA, as occasional office visits for training and onboarding will be necessary.
Work Schedule:
Normal business hours are Monday to Friday, with some flexibility based on individual availability.
Compensation:
The pay rate is $21.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, and necessary equipment will be provided.
Home Office Requirements:
Candidates must have a designated quiet workspace and high-speed internet connection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process medical claims for hospitals, clinics, and physicians, along with conducting insurance follow-ups.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience with Meditech and Allscripts is essential; familiarity with EPIC and Cerner is advantageous.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Effectively communicate with hospital staff and management, both in writing and verbally.
- Engage with insurance companies as needed to verify the status of claim payments.
- Experience working with clearinghouses and managing denied claims is required.
- Provide necessary documentation and information to clients.
- Submit reports from client meetings to management.
- Assist and support other teams and staff members.
- Offer constructive feedback to management regarding potential improvements.
- Initiate research and resolution for client-raised issues.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement value-added services.
- Maintain and manage spreadsheets, databases, or reports to share outcomes and opportunities with management.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
