Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing therapy services to students in a school setting. As an Occupational Therapist with Soliant Health, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, creating personalized treatment plans, and providing direct therapy services to students with a wide range of sensory, fine motor, and coordination challenges.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' individual needs and create personalized treatment plans.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students, addressing a wide range of sensory, fine motor, and coordination challenges.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement strategies that promote student success.

  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings to provide valuable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • A valid state license as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.

  • Ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate therapy activities.

  • Understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with special education laws and regulations.

Schedule:

This is a full-time position, with a workweek of 37.5 hours. The schedule will align with the school calendar and operating hours.
