Civil Project Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled civil engineer to lead our municipal stormwater project team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and design of stormwater projects, including preparing construction documents, calculating costs, and developing traffic control plans.

  • This role requires strong leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, and contractors.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology and 2+ years of transferable design experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and design of stormwater projects
  • Prepare construction documents, calculate costs, and develop traffic control plans
  • Meet with clients, engineers, and contractors to discuss project details and progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
  • EI or EIT required
  • 2+ years of transferrable design experience
  • Previous experience with AutoCAD and/or Civil3D required
  • Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience using GIS preferred

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
