AI Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented researcher to join our AI team. As an AI Research Scientist, you will have the opportunity to innovate for our customers and our business, working on high-impact research areas such as Personalization, Reinforcement Learning, Graphical Models, Multimodal Image and Text, Multimodal Search, and Recommender systems, or Ranking.
Our team has an open attitude towards research, and we encourage publications and continuing collaborations. Many of our past interns have submissions and publications at top conferences such as RecSys and KDD as a product of intern research and team collaboration.
Responsibilities
Conduct research in machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve our home shopping experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new features and technologies
Design and implement experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of new features and technologies
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
Requirements
PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
Experience working in at least one of the following areas: deep learning, representation learning, multi-modal learning, reinforcement learning, or graphical models
Strong publication record or high motivation towards publishing at top-tier scientific conferences
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
