Collaborating with educators, the specialist seeks to contribute to the overall academic development and success of students, ensuring a positive and enriching educational experience for all.
Essential Skills and Competencies: While we welcome diverse backgrounds, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of at least two years of higher education (equivalent to 60 semester hours); or possession of an associate's degree (or higher); or meeting a rigorous standard of quality through a formal academic assessment.
- Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics, or readiness in these subjects as appropriate.
- Professional communication skills with students, staff, and guardians.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Strong work ethic as verified by previous employers.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or valid teaching certification.
- Experience working with at-risk students.
- Prior experience in an educational setting with school-aged children.
