Job Title: CNC Programmer

Join the Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma as a CNC Programmer and play a critical role in our manufacturing process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and operating high-pressure water jets and CNC routers to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and minimal scrap.
  • Develop and implement programs to optimize cutting techniques and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with production control, quality, and other shop personnel to resolve machining and quality issues.
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Communicate production-related items to management and supervisors.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, identifying and mitigating job hazards.
Requirements:
  • Vocational training in drafting, design, CNC machining programming, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of CNC machine programming experience, with a broad knowledge of machining techniques and CNC machine tool operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated experience in accurately interpreting engineering drawings and PCMs.
  • CAD/CAM/CMM skills and other computer-related experience.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Fusion360, and MasterCAM.
Working Conditions:

The position involves prolonged sitting, standing, stooping, or bending, lifting, or carrying 50+ pounds on a daily basis. Work is generally performed in a shop environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and/or temperature.
