Job Title: QA Automation Engineer III

Bread Financial is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer III to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Ruby and Cucumber framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automated testing is completed with proper coverage for all requirements
  • Develop and maintain expert understanding of all components and functionality of the system and framework
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and training on testing practices and advise on impacts for system changes
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand testing needs and report on testing results
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience with Ruby and Cucumber framework (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience
  • Certifications in software testing (ISTQB, CAT, CSTP, CMT)
  • Experience with banking/financial services/insurance domain functional testing
