Job Summary:

  • Assist in providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting.
  • Develop long-term relationships with patients and work collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training preferred.

Certification and Licensure:

  • National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or
  • National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or
  • National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional weekends; 80 hours every two weeks.

Pay:

The hourly range for this position is $27.00 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
