Job Summary

ATC White Plains is seeking a highly skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality medical images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, adhering to established standards of care and quality assurance protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training programs.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) and registered in radiography (RT).
  • NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required.
  • Continuing education requirements met to maintain certification and licensure.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required within 90 days of hire.
  • IV certification preferred or completed within 6 months of hire.
  • MRI safety certification level 2 required annually.
