About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team at My Dentist Springfield. As an elite clinical provider and patient advocate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional lifetime patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and personalized dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure seamless patient care and outstanding clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in MO and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced Hygienists and New Graduates.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
