  • Care for newborns, including performing initial assessments, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with breastfeeding, providing exceptional care and attention to detail.
  • Ensure a safe and sterile environment in the labor and delivery unit, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, staying current with best practices and advancements in labor and delivery nursing.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, with a focus on labor and delivery nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, with a strong understanding of emergency procedures.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
