Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description

Century Group is a leading company that is partnering with a client to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. The expected salary for this role ranges from $55,000 to $60,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval before payment processing
  • Process weekly check and ACH payment runs for agent commissions, employee expenses, and vendor payments
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks and review company expense reports
  • Maintain departmental lists to track rent and auto-lease status
  • Respond to vendor inquiries via regular mail and phone
  • Reconcile vendor statements, research, and resolve discrepancies
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and the MS Office suite
  • Ability to type 45-55 wpm with 10-key touch typing
  • Must be able to work with digital media
  • Experience with Concur Invoice & Expense and SAP (or similar software) is a plus
Experience:
  • High school diploma required, with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
