This role is a senior design engineering opportunity that presents a variety of engaging and demanding challenges in the field of structural engineering, offering a remarkable chance to elevate your professional journey.

You will oversee a team of structural engineers, collaborate with professionals from various engineering disciplines, and engage directly with clients.
As the leader of a structural engineering team, you will manage engineering projects related to new nuclear facilities as well as enhancements and modifications to existing nuclear power plants in the following domains:

This position allows you to leverage your expertise in materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.

As part of an engineering and design team, you will contribute to a diverse array of projects for multiple clients.

Your responsibilities will include preparing, reviewing, and providing direction for design calculations, developing specifications, and collaborating with designers on drawing development.

You will prepare, review, or guide the structural analysis and design of steel frameworks, connections, concrete elements, equipment, and foundations.

There may be opportunities for you to travel to client and vendor offices for design evaluations and to construction sites for coordination and field verification of designs.

This position follows a hybrid work model, requiring in-office attendance three days a week.
Qualifications
We do not provide sponsorship for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.

Essential skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

A minimum of ten years of experience as part of a project team in the design and analysis of structures.

Expertise in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, STRUDL, or ANSYS.
Familiarity with design codes and standards including IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, N690, ACI 318, and ACI 349.
Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Valued, but not required:
Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license.
