Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Speech-Language Pathology Programs

Organize, develop, and implement a school-based speech-language pathology program that meets the needs of children with exceptional educational needs.

Provide Direct and Consultative Services

Provide direct and consultative services to children with exceptional educational needs, including assessments, evaluations, and therapy sessions.

Collaborate with Educational Staff

Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the needs of children with exceptional educational needs.

Maintain Accurate Records

Maintain accurate and timely records of services provided, including daily documentation, Medicaid billing logs, and IEPs.

Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology

A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a school accredited by the American Speech Language Hearing Association is required.

Current Department of Public Instruction License

A current Department of Public Instruction license in good standing is required for Wisconsin positions.

Experience and Skills

1+ year of experience in a school-based setting is preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and billing software, are required.

Working Conditions

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a school-based setting, providing services to children with exceptional educational needs. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with educational staff.
