Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as Ryder's safety policies and procedures.
  • Load and unload freight, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a valid endorsement for the position.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including a drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions, and to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
