Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of patient care requirements before, during, and after procedures

- Experience in ER, OR, or ICU is highly desirable
Educational Background
- Graduation from an accredited nursing institution
- Active Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
- A minimum of two years of nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Key Responsibilities
- Function as a nurse across all shifts in a rotational schedule, Monday through Friday, NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS
- Foster a positive patient care atmosphere by assessing, planning, and executing effective care strategies while engaging with patients and their families
- Act as the primary liaison among various healthcare disciplines to ensure seamless patient care in acute or clinic settings
- Make informed decisions in response to patient condition changes while maintaining composure
- Utilize Electronic Health Records for meticulous documentation of patient care
- Coordinate effectively with physicians and team members regarding patient status, symptoms, diagnostic results, and critical values
- Deliver individualized, age-appropriate, safe, and high-quality patient care throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Serve as a resource and collaborate with team members to optimize patient care outcomes
- Oversee daily clinical operations
- Provide care for preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patients, demonstrating expertise in assessment, pain management, sedation, and potential complications
- Administer sedation and analgesia, monitoring patients as necessary
- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain nursing operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing relevant policies and procedures
- Address patient and healthcare team inquiries by providing accurate information
- Uphold a safe and clean working environment through effective procedures and regulations
- Safeguard patient confidentiality and manage sensitive information appropriately
- Audit patient and clinic records to ensure accurate documentation of care services
- Manage nursing supplies inventory by analyzing usage trends and forecasting needs
- Promote a collaborative atmosphere among the healthcare team through effective communication and rapport-building

Patient Education
- Assess and document patient learning needs
- Provide educational materials regarding self-care to patients and their families
- Assist patients and families with additional educational requirements
Knowledge and Understanding:
